Note:

Karekare Beach Lodge is located in the heart of a small community which places high value on its natural coastal environment. Our pure, chemically untreated, though triple filtered, water is sourced from a nearby waterfall and all organic waste disposal is managed on site.

We appreciate your co-operation in minimising any adverse environmental impact.

For your entertainment the lodge has:

  • Information on local walks and attractions within Waitakere and the Greater Auckland areas
  • A small library and games selection including petanque
  • Video cassette player and monitor (Note: no broadcast TV)
  • CD player for your favourite CDs
